What’s the best way to burn my candle to avoid ‘tunnelling’ and ensure the longest-lasting scent?

The first burn is the most important! To ensure your luxury soy candle burns evenly and prevents ‘tunnelling,’ you must allow the melted wax pool to reach the edge of the glass on the very first light. This sets the soy wax memory for all future burns, guaranteeing the best performance and a truly long-lasting scent for the candle’s life.

Why is it important to keep my luxury soy candle out of direct sunlight?

It is crucial to store your candle away from direct sunlight or heat sources to maintain its quality. Exposure to UV rays can cause the natural soy wax to oxidise, which often appears as slight discolouration (yellow or beige tones). While this is a harmless, cosmetic issue that doesn’t affect the long-lasting scent or performance, storing your candle in a cool, dark place is the best way to preserve its original colour and its clean fragrance.

Why do my Black Raspberry and Vanilla candles sometimes look like it has ‘wet spots’ or bubbles?

Those small blemishes are actually how you know you have an authentic, Australian made product! They are a natural characteristic of high-quality soy wax where the wax pulls slightly away from the glass due to temperature changes. This is a common and easy fix! A flame that’s too high means the wick needs trimming. Before every single burn, ensure your wick is trimmed to about 3mm (or 1/4 inch). We encourage upcycling! Our jars are designed to be reused. Because we use soy wax, the remaining residue is water soluble.
