01. The order

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our candle and diffuser collections, add your chosen items to the cart, and proceed to checkout. You can create an account or check out as a guest.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we’ll do our best to help. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@tangocandles.com.au

Do I need an account to order?

No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account allows you to track orders and manage your details more easily.

What currency are prices shown in?

All prices on our website are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars).

Can I include a gift message with my order?

Yes. You can add a gift note at checkout, and we’ll include it in the package so it’s ready to gift.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order details. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or promotions folder.

What shipping options do you offer?

At checkout, you can choose from Australia Post delivery options:

  • Australia Post Parcel Post
  • Australia Post Express Post

Shipping rates are calculated in real time based on your order and location.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders over $65 (after discounts and before shipping).

How long does dispatch take?

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days.

How long will delivery take?

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Parcel Post: 2–8 business days
  • Express Post: 1–3 business days

Delivery times may vary during peak periods or due to Australia Post delays.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.

What if I entered the wrong delivery address?

Please double-check your details at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If you have any questions please contact our team.

03. Our Products

What kind of wax do you use in your candles?

Our candles are made with natural soy wax. Soy candles are eco-friendly, sustainable, and burn cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin candles.

What fragrances do you use?

We use premium, phthalate-free fragrance oils, including Australian essential oils, carefully selected for a clean, long-lasting scent throw.

Are your candles safe to burn indoors?

Yes, when used correctly. Always keep candles away from drafts, children, and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

How can I make my candle last longer?

  • Trim the wick to around 3mm before each burn
  • Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface
  • Avoid burning for more than 3–4 hours at a time

This helps prevent tunnelling and extends the life of your candle.

Do you sell diffusers as well as candles?

Yes. We offer a selection of reed diffusers designed to provide long-lasting, flame-free fragrance for your home.

Do you offer custom or wholesale candles?

Yes! We create custom candles for weddings, gifts, and special events, and offer wholesale options for boutiques and businesses.

04. Returns, exchanges and complaints

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We accept returns in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Due to the nature of our products, candles must be unused and in original condition.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we’ll assist you as quickly as possible.

What if I’m unhappy with my purchase?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If something isn’t right, please reach out and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
